Professors

Student

I fully enjoyed my time as a student at ASU. I majored in English with a specialization in technical writing. I got a very well-rounded course load that has helped me TREMENDOUSLY in the business world. Plus, the campus is small so it's easy to get to class (unlike Texas Tech's campus), the class sizes are like high school size so you get good interaction with your classmates and professors, and the campus is beautiful. All of the housing isn't just the best, and the food is mediocre, but for a small, affordable university, it does pretty well. I'm a proud alumni of 2014, and I hope this review helps someone make the smart decision to look into this university.

Campus and vibes

Freshman

I’m so happy to be part of the ram family says the beginning of orientation felt very welcomed. My mom, love the way she was treated and felt very comfortable for me to be part of Angela State. Since the beginning when I was accepted is been a celebration and I also attended the camp and had so much fun. Always recommend this university to others an awesome place to be at.

Other

I am a current freshman college student at St. Edwards University. Unfortunately with financial issues I will be transferring to Angelo State University. I heard from a group of friends who are currently residing there and the amazing experiences they have. They have encouraged me to at least apply and learn more about the campus. I grew to love it and eventually got accepted for the Fall 2024. The admissions office and financial aid office at Angelo State University have been a huge support since I have contacted them and started. I received emails with information and links to websites that have helped me. They have been a great help and keeping in contact with any questions I asked along the way. Although I have not experienced being a full time student yet I know it would be the best time I have there. I'm excited to see what comes next and to become apart of the RamFam.

Sophomore

My overall experience at Angelo State University has been great. All my professors are very understanding of student lives and my classes aren't that bad either. All staff and faculty that I've encountered have been very friendly and caring. The university cares for their students' futures and successes, so I automatically felt welcomed and comfortable here.

Freshman

I enjoyed getting to be apart of the marching band. I hope that the frats are dismembered or adjusted.

Freshman

I have felt very comfortable being here. The people are very nice and helpful. I am very glad I chose to come to ASU.

Alumni

Studying at Angelo State was a great experience. It was a little out of the way, should I need to get anywhere, but college events were rather easy to attend with a little bit of walking. It would be nice to see a campus trolley system implemented for events.

Sophomore

I play a lot of intramurals sports and then i also play competitive softball on the weekends with USSSA. One thing i would like to change in our school is the cafeteria food it's not always good it's almost the same as high school food.

Student

Love it!! Great campus, great dorms, AMAZING faculty and staff, brand new facilities... all for an affordable tuition. It's the best kept secret of West Texas. I've had so much fun during my time here, and I can wait for the next few years!
