Student reviews

Professors

Graduate Student

ASU is big, but in a good way—you can always find a class format, a club, or a mentor that fits. I’m an Econ major in CLAS, and most of my professors answer emails fast and stay after class to explain things. Career Services has been useful for resume edits and quick mock interviews, and the career fairs on Tempe are actually worth going to.

Senior

ASU really worked with me to get me enrolled in the urban planning program. While I had some outstanding items the enrollment specialist provided me information on what I needed to do. I also have a felony and the ASU student advocate department took the time to read my personal letter and letters of recommendations. They accepted me and I am so grateful for the opportunity I was given. I currently have a 4.0 GPA

Junior

My experience at Arizona State University has been nothing short of amazing. From the start, I have felt supported in every way whether through academic advising, online learning tools, or the encouragement of instructors and classmates. ASU offers so many resources that make learning engaging and accessible, even for students balancing busy schedules. I truly appreciate the flexibility and innovation that the university provides to help students succeed in their academic and personal goals. My only regret is that, because I work full time, I’m unable to be a full-time student and fully immerse myself in the campus experience.

Campus and vibes

Sophomore

As an Active Duty member of the U.S. Air Force, ASU was a great choice for me to pursue a higher education. The application and enrollment process was very streamlined. I was constantly in contact with someone every step of the way. ASU also has an excellent Veterans center that assists military members transition to college life. My classes and professors have also been amazing and accommodating. Overall, I would recommend ASU to any military member seeking an education.

Alumni

I loved how beautiful all of the campuses were. In between classes my favorite thing to do was to go for a walk around campus (as I felt safe to do so) or just sit and enjoy my surroundings. It was also super convenient of how many other things to do there was.

Student

Ever since choosing to go to Arizona State University, I’ve managed to excel in my hobbies, make new friends, and create connections with people that could assist in my potential future careers. Though there have been other colleges recommended to me beforehand, I’ve always thought of Arizona as a second home to me, and I made the right choice in enrolling.

Alumni

It was an average experience. It was convenient due to familial concerns but over all good experience. I think there needs to be more guidance especially for those coming from rural areas.
