Student reviews

Professors

Student

With recent financial troubles, the school has made cuts to programs that are significantly diminishing the quality of education. Some faculty in the music department are very supportive and kind, while others refuse to accommodate students with disabilities and use discriminatory language. That being said, the small school size meant that finding a place in a community was perhaps a little easier- we all knew each other much better than at other schools.

Current Student

I am a pre physical therapy major and the process of getting accepted was fairly easy. If you are accepted in general to the school then you are accepted in to the program. The school requires an essay, high school transcript, and an optional SAT score. If your grades are high and your essay good quality there should be minor difficulty being accepted.

Current Student

Admission Is Pretty Easy – It was relatively easy to apply for Baldwin Wallace University especially for being a math major. There is an essay required for all majors, but it is an easy essay to complete. I have good grades in math, so it was not very hard to be admitted as a math major. I did not encounter any difficulties or challenges.

Baldwin Wallace is a great university for students looking for an intimate, tight-knit educational community. The campus is beautiful, and incredibly safe. Though there are not a lot of dining hall options, the food at the dining halls is nutritious and rather tasty! The cost is a bit high, but there are a lot of merit scholarships the school offers as well as access to outside resources for scholarships.

When visiting the campus, the admission counselors did a great job at making you feel welcomed and encouraging you to apply. The campus is beautiful and just has a home feel to it. Even if you don't think you want to attend the college, I recommend visiting it!
