Student reviews

Professors

Current Student

Access to a bachelor's degree is easy, but mandatory theology classes can feel like a waste of time, especially since most classes are taught by pastors, leading to a lack of objectivity. Some impartial professors are appreciated for genuine learning, as opposed to indoctrination. If you're not into Christianity, it may not be the best experience.

Campus and vibes

Current Student

The staff is kind and helpful, especially for international students. Mary Ranjel, Orlando, Ivonne, and Bailey always assist, making the international admissions process easy. They explain everything clearly and guide you throughout. It's also great for learning English as a second language, with a wealth of knowledge in theology. Living on campus as a family was one of the best experiences and affordable.

Current Student

My personal experience at BUA helped me make good friends. I recommend it, but its narrow focus on religion limits its potential.

Current Student

I really enjoy my schooling at BUA. I like that I feel seen as a student, and I’m able to get help quickly when needed. The financial team is great and help you in any way possible. Staff are extremely helpful and professional. Academics is also great, you build relationships with your professors that are close and helpful.

Current Student

I have seen changes in the school, & I love that they don't apologize for what they believe in. Talking with administrators, there is big changes coming soon, some I cant wait for & hopefully before I graduate.
