Student reviews

Professors

Junior

A great college in a great area. The STEM classes are great, CORE teacher are wonderful. Some of the housing issues can be frustrating. Social life is mostly built into school-sponsored activities, though you can head into downtown Burlington or UVM for more upbeat social activities.

Student

Champlain College academic wise, is great. They help you personalize it to you specifically and will help you graduate, you wouldn't be just a number to people, you really get to know your professors and become friends with them. Social scene wise, it is hard because its a dry campus and most people aren't really into leaving their room.

Campus and vibes

Freshman

My experience at Champlain was horrendous. If you'... re looking for a big open-minded school to make friends this is FAR from the place for you. Although it seems as if it is diverse the students there are far from accepting. If you do not fit into their mold they will not only not accept you, but they will bully you for it.

Senior

I really love this school! I feel very accepted being a minority in both ethnicity and sexuality here, it's a very inclusive campus. All of my peers have been friendly to me and I've yet to have any negative experiences with them. Champlain has really stood out to me because of the way the curriculums are ran.

Freshman

I love being able to walk around with friends and being encouraged to explore by school sanctioned events; doing this and not being afraid helps ease my nerves as well as my moms back home. So the main perks of Champlain are its inclusivity, safety, course arrangement, and surroundings.
