Student reviews

Professors

Alumni

They are all good quiet places to study and get work done. The hours are reasonable and the staff are friendly and helpful. The tutors are very helpful and encouraging. Sometimes the professors come to the study and tutor rooms and help out there too. Overall, I did enjoy my time as a student at CGCC.

Student

As a student at CGCC, I really liked having the option to take classes completely online, via Zoom, hybrid, or completely in-person. The professors were all great at teaching and answering any questions or providing further explanations for class material. The office hours are reasonable and, depending on the professor, they can sometimes be a little more flexible.

Campus and vibes

Current Student

The classes were fairly small with only about 20-30 or so people which was nice for working with and getting to know classmates. The campus is simple enough to navigate and there is often someone around to help point you in the right direction. The libraries, computer labs, and other student centers are all very nice and clean.

Current Student

The college is great so far. I'm only taking 2 classes, but only 1 has started, and the 1 that has started has been great. My professor is a great teacher so far and makes everything very easy to learn and understand. The campus is clean and makes me feel safe every time I step on the campus.

Cost and value

Current Student

I am a CGCC ACE student and have had an amazing experience with the college and scholarship program. Being able to complete a huge amount of college credits for free has been and will continue to be life changing. I am so grateful to this program, the outstanding advisors, and the teachers I have been able to work with.
