Student reviews

Professors

Student

I liked how the college is very organized by faculty and staff, which makes their programs more valuable and motivating. It sets each student up for success with multiple resources and student groups. The program that I have been involved with is sociably interconnected. Everyone supports each other, creating a positive environment for learning and education.

Student

The staff is very responsive when you reach out for assistance. The instructors often have jobs outside of the teaching which allows them to be more grounded to what is going on outside of the academic environment. This also allows them to be more aware of what the job market really looks like for the degree they are teaching. Overall I have had a good experience with my CVTC educational interactions.

Campus and vibes

Student

I just love the atmosphere. There is the commons where we can go and study, or the library, where I have been helped by the tutors with my math and English homework. They are very helpful with anything that you may need, and during midterms and final exams, they brought in therapy dogs, free massages by professionals, fun little activities, and free drinks and food to keep us from getting stressed out from the exams.

About Chippewa Valley Technical College

CVTC is committed to providing a safe and secure environment, with the Department of Public Safety overseeing security measures. The college has a good working relationship with local police departments and encourages students to report any criminal actions or emergencies. The annual security report provides detailed information on campus safety policies and procedures.

While CVTC welcomes international students, the enrollment of international students remains relatively low. The college advises international applicants to begin the application process at least six months before their intended enrollment date. There is a need for targeted marketing strategies and partnerships with international institutions to enhance its appeal to international students.
