My classroom experience has been incredibly challenging and I have, again, learned so very much and I have never worked so hard for a B in my life.

Cost and value

Student

It's easy to see why Colgate has one of the least amounts of debt after 4 years: the financial aid is extremely generous. If Colgate accepts you, they want you to attend. Chances are you have been accepted elsewhere, and Colgate will make a case for why you should enroll here.

Student

I was accepted off the wait list, and I was stunned. I got the best financial offer at Colgate out of 7 total acceptances, and schools are usually much less generous (because they have less money) after regular admissions. Colgate promises to meet 100% of demonstrated need, and that certainly happened for me.

Student

Colgate is expensive. But it seems that most people can afford it on campus. Approximately 50-60% of the campus pays full tuition as it is a rich kid school. But if you are eligible for financial aid or can pay the tuition without trouble, it is definitely worth the cost

Student

The education is top notch so its worth all the money that it costs.
