As an entering freshman at the Culinary Institute of America (CIA), my experience has been incredibly exciting and fulfilling. I love the hands-on learning approach, which immerses us in practical kitchen work from day one. The experienced faculty, who are industry professionals, provide valuable insights and mentorship, making classes both informative and inspiring.

Freshman

I love my classes, my chefs, the activities, opportunities, and the community. I am apart of the busy bee program where we volunteer. I am in coffee club and saga, both are so fun. I wish it wasn't so expensive because that is the only real thing I am struggling with.

Sophomore

The CIA is highly esteemed and has a thriving college community and camous with plenty of group engagement and activities for students. With each career fair hosted by the school, the students are given plenty of oppotunity to be introduced to organizations before they even leave the school or recieve their diplomas.
