Professors

Student

I would say my experience at Hostos was mainly focused on studying rather than participating in other activities. I can say this because I prioritized my coursework over engaging with campus life. From an academic standpoint, I can vouch for Hostos: the educational quality is strong, and the professors are attentive and genuinely care about student performance.

Current Student

Hello, I'm a current student studying at Hostos Community College. I'm majoring in Community Health and this is my second year. All I can say is that I love Hostos Community College. And if you ask me whether I regret attending Hostos Community College, the answer would be NO. There are numerous opportunities for everyone. They also help build students' leadership skills, communication skills, and confidence. It basically feels like home to me. The professors and staff are really good too, even though some of them can be really strict. You would never regret coming to HOSTOS COMMUNITY COLLEGE!

Student

As a high school senior in dual enrollment for Early Childhood Education, Hostos has been a great starting point. Professors are patient and supportive, and the campus feels safe and welcoming. I’ve been able to balance school, work, and cheerleading thanks to flexible class options and helpful advisors. What could improve is communication deadlines and updates aren’t always clear, and better alerts would help students stay organized. More scholarship info would also be helpful for those planning to transfer. Overall, Hostos helped me grow academically and personally.
