Professors

Student

I was able to get my teacher assistant certificate done with in a year. The Professor's I had were amazing and helped me a lot. I am older, so going back to school was a big challenge for me, but they help me along the way.

Student

My overall experience at Finger Lakes Community College is extraordinary! The professors I have had the privilege of meeting have exceeded my expectations. I am a 4.0 student who is looking to pursue a Criminal Justice major. I found this passion achievable thanks to my Intro to Psychology class with professor Matthew Holla, and my Abnormal Psychology class with Professor Canose. I would recommend this college to those who are still unsure of their passions. FLCC helped me pave the way to finding what I value most in a career.

Student

FLCC has so many opportunities to fully immerse yourself in your field of study. Not only that, but the college is so flexible. You can totally work around your own schedule.

Student

Finger Lakes Community College gave me opportunities that I never would've had if I hadn't gone here. All of the art professors are incredibly talented and very helpful. The classes are very small and it's very easy to have a one-on-one conversation with a professor or advisor. There are a lot of fun clubs and events. the only downside to FLCC would be the Suites At Laker Landing, I wish I had stayed at home rather than stay at the Suites.

Campus and vibes

Current Student

I am on my second semester; my first semester I lived on campus and it was great. The school food was surprisingly good and reasonable cost! My second semester I am taking all online and off campus. It starts soon. Flcc is a great local community college to start your degree and continue your education! Faculty make learning a great experience!

Student

Staff and everything overall is amazing! I highly recommend this college to anyone interested in pursuing certifications

It was honestly the best college decision of my life. I thought I wouldn't like going to a community college but truthfully it's the best. Small classes, close-knit community, my community college even has state-of-the-art dorms!

Student

My experience at FLCC has been nothing but the best. The professors and others staff members really try to help you out as much as they can in anyway possible which goes a long way. Being able to have multiple people to go to in order to get help makes time at FLCC easier for anyone in attendance. Along with the staff the campus itself makes you feel at home, with the diversity and the multiple outlets on campus which caters to most people on campus.

Student

Easy transitioning to college life due to the small community. FLCC is engulfed in a beautiful area with Canandaigua Lake, Finger Lake trails, and neighboring nature centers and parks. Easy to thrive with small classes, easy to navigate campus, and plenty of opportunities to dive into.

At Finger Lakes Community College, there is a great sense of community. There are many activities to do on Campus that will get you to interact with everyone around you and make new friends.
