I've studied with GRCC for about five years now. Overall, I think the whole school and class dynamic is great. I like the fact classes are kept small, that way I feel students can connect with educators better. I'm currently in their nursing program, and the small classes are a huge plus with learning and having a closer connection with the instructors and cohort.

They also have a great learning centers with tutors. I’m currently a sophomore at Grand Rapids Community College, where I’ve been exploring my interests and building a solid foundation for my future since 2019! Campus and vibes

Current Student

I appreciated the flexibility of course offerings—especially the online and evening classes that made it easier to balance school with work. One area I’d love to see improved is the parking situation during peak hours, which can be frustrating. Additionally, expanding more hands-on internship opportunities would help students gain real-world experience.

About Grand Rapids Community College

While GRCC's campus is generally considered safe, some students have expressed concerns about campus security. The college has a dedicated police force, GRCC Police, to ensure the safety and well-being of students and staff. However, some reviews suggest there is room for improvement in security measures to enhance the overall safety environment.

The GRCC Honors Program offers a transformative college experience for highly motivated students seeking academic excellence and leadership development.
