Student reviews

Professors

Student

Academically diverse with main focus on topics required to nursing and passing the nursing board exam. College space is small and although there are resources available, it needs a bit more funding. Tuition costs are considerable, but work-life balance will be strained due to often inflexible curriculum scheduling.

Student

They offer three programs, associate degree in Nursing, bachelor's Degree in Nursing, and LPN to RN. Each program varies in time. If you want to obtain your bachelors of nursing then the BSN program is perfect for you. I hope this helps and good luck!

Student

Ensure that you have their tuition when requested. This school has really good reviews in terms of their academics. The Professors are very knowledgeable, and they are great at their jobs, but the Administration needs some evaluation.

Student

Helene fuld college of nursing is located in a nice building in the heart of Harlem in Manhattan. It has state of art simulation labs to learn your nursing skills. I can say that (most) of my professors have been excellent and sincerely want you to succeed. The curriculum is a bit demanding, but that goes with most nursing schools. The school is very diverse and the students and staff are friendly.

Student

Helenefuld college of nursing is an excellent program it’s designed for nurses who are ready to give their all and get a four year degree in two years or less! This program is not for the faint hearted but it is very worth it!!!

Student

I have completed my prereq courses for pre entrance to the nursing program and thus far it has been a delight professors really work with and help you understand the material

Campus and vibes

Student

Great staff, great students! Happy to be building my future at such a reputable establishment. I will always recommend both staff and students in my future endeavors.

Student

This was not my first college of choice, but returning to school after 16yrs has been quite an experience for me. Helene fuld is not only local but well experienced in the area I choose to pursue my career.

Cost and value

Student

I would not recommend the school to anyone. Financial aid is not covered fully for the school tuition, which means that you will have to pay thousands of dollars before each semester begins. Most of the classes for the first year and a half are irrelevant, and a waste of time. Half of the students I came in with, already dropped before the withdrawal period ended. None of the offices are help: registrar, bursar, or financial aid. If you are looking to waste money and education time, go to school here.
