I enrolled into JWU with early enrollment and am so thankful I could do so. The professors are so helpful and always offer the best they can. All of the ones I’ve had so far are full of experience and are delighted to share their knowledge with you.

Campus and vibes

Junior

The best decision in my life was accepting an early enrollment at Johnson & Wales University. I have always felt welcome here from the beginning. When students are first acclimating to the area JWU is helpful because of all the ongoing activities on and off campus everyday.

Current Student

This school doesn't look at your SAT scores which is great for those who are not great test takers. They do offer plenty of scholarships and if you do happen to have a good SAT score, you are able to get better academic scholarships. There are no crazy application processes at this school. They make it very easy to apply and you are not intimidated.

Current Student

you must apply to get into the bachelors program and jwu, no matter the major. most everyone is accepted that has decent grades (above a 3.0) but it is a lot of paperwork and requires recommendations from different people which can be time consuming

Student

My experience at JWU was great. The campus is an open campus spread across the city, with most of the buildings downtown. Providence itself is a great city because it is home to other notable colleges and universities, such as Brown, RIC, Providence College & Rhode Island School of Design, where you can interact and engage with students from those schools.

Student

My experience at JWU has been full of growth and opportunity. I love how hands-on the learning is, professors actually care and help you prepare for real careers. The community is welcoming, and there are plenty of ways to get involved. I do wish communication between departments and financial aid was smoother, but overall, JWU gives you the space to grow, connect, and figure out your path.
