Campus and vibes

Student

Kirtland is a gem of a Community College sitting just outside the town of Grayling. It is very modern and extremely nice and clean. The staff are very helpful and kind, and the professors have been outstanding so far. I have been to other larger Universities and I wish I could go back in time and choose Kirtland Community College sooner than I have. It is terrific and they should be proud.

Student

Kirtland is close to home for me. I love how clean and organized the school is. Most of the professors are great. The food is good. I love the library resources!

Student

I would absolutely recommend Kirtland to anyone looking for a supportive, well-rounded community college experience.

Student

Throughout high school, I took Kirtland classes online and built up enough credits that I only had to do 1 year of prerequisites before joining the nursing program. This new Kirtland campus is beautiful! The gym just got redone, the basketball team is being brought back, the campus will soon have housing, and “The Grill” is such a great place to eat and study! I don’t regret choosing Kirtland. The instructors are so nice and helpful. I love this college and I am so thrilled to be a Kirtland Nursing student.

Cost and value

Student

I used financial aid, which was a smooth process, and my advisors were always helpful. The cafeteria also had good food, which was a nice bonus. I felt supported throughout my time there—whether academically or personally, someone was always available to help. Instructors were thorough, clear, and genuinely cared about student success.

Student

Kirtland is a great place to get an associates degree for very little or no money relative to other four year universities. It is also a great place to start your education and save on a bachelors degree or beyond. The campus has a small town feel, that allows students to be connected to their instructors and other staff. Kirtland also offers a great opportunity for aspiring athletes to start their collegiate athletic career.
