Lamar State College seriously has amazing resources for student, however a problem I often had was communicating with the professors because they would either never respond or respond too late.

Lamar is a great 2yr College to start a career. I experience the class and online classes and the professors are well helping professor. I graduated with my certificate and associate degree in Accounting. I am going back to receive my associates in general studies.

The campus is small, so you don’t get lost every five seconds, and most of the teachers are actually helpful and explain stuff so you’re not confused the whole time. It’s also super affordable, which is good if you’re trying to save money or planning to transfer later.

Lamar Port Arthur Community College is a great school for local students who are looking for a cheap way to get a degree. The small student classes allow you to focus better on classes and connect more with teachers. I will say that some buildings are older than others, making them more run down but you can tell they are working to fix that with more buildings being added.
