Getting into the Biology program at Lamar University is very simple. You must meet to the standard requirements of the college' overall admissions. It is very important to have "good" or above average SAT or ACT scores. A good high school GPA and ranking may also be important.

I have enjoyed my experience at Lamar University so far. The application process was smooth and once accepted, I have stayed in communication with my Academic advisor to guide me through the process of enrolling into classes for Spring 2024.

Lamar University is a small school with abundant opportunities. I love the massive library, the well kept grounds, and that a pool is just outside my dorm! Transitioning to a public school after being a lifelong homeschooler was a nerve-wracking experience, and Lamar made it easier with the small class sizes, its student to faculty ratio, and the overall welcoming environment. Go Cardinals!
