Louisiana Culinary Institute is an amazing 16 month Associate Degree program for anyone interested in the culinary arts field. They are very hands on, and teach you the basic fundamentals you need to be successful in the culinary industry.

I just started in August and I must say that it is amazing here! We get to eat for free in a dining room that appears as restaraunt. The chefs and waiters in there are actual students that attend the school.
