About Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts

MCLA takes steps to ensure the safety and security of all community members, employing a professionally trained Campus Police force and skilled Residence Life staff. The college has a card access security system in residence halls, and Residence Area Security Monitors check College IDs. MCLA also has an excellent working relationship with surrounding law enforcement agencies.

MCLA's Honors Program includes ten percent of the student body and offers special interdisciplinary courses. Students can explore topics such as "The Mathematics of Fairness," "Ethics and Animals," or "The Romantic Movement."
