I graduated from MIAD in 2023 as a illustration major and graphic design minor and can genuinely say they set the foundation I needed to succeed in the corporate world. Although a small school they have a very strong group of professors who teach for the love of art and will push you to be the best version of yourself.

During my time at MIAD I was able to explore how I wanted to use my passion for illustration in my future career. You can make a career out of doing what you love! It takes hard work and perseverance, but being able to work within your passion is amazing!

About Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design

MIAD is reported to have an excellent rating for campus safety. The college is located in Milwaukee's Historic Third Ward, which is a destination for both tourists and residents. MIAD provides campus security and promotes student support and wellness programs.

MIAD offers an Independent Inquiry Program where students build knowledge and self-confidence. MIAD also offers special study opportunities including the AICAD Exchange program, semester-long exchange programs in France, Germany, Italy, Poland, and Spain, and MIAD-led short-term study/travel to such locations as Ireland, Italy, Thailand and France.
