I've been going to Minot State University for just over a year now. And the professors are second to none. They're so eager to help you and encourage all your ideas and go above and beyond to help you achieve them. If you're looking for a close knit community with a friendly atmosphere, look no further than MSU. They offer a large variety of fine arts, opera, summer theater, chamber ensembles, and so many more. There's something for everyone!

Professors are highly knowledgeable, passionate about their subject matter, and committed to helping their students succeed. The campus is also welcoming and supportive, with a strong sense of community among students and faculty alike. Outside of the classroom, I have ample opportunities to get involved in extracurricular activities and volunteer work, which helps me develop leadership skills, broaden my horizons, and make lasting connections.

My experience at MSU was incredibly fulfilling, blending a strong academic environment with a vibrant student life. The small class sizes allowed for close interactions with professors, making the learning experience more personalized and engaging. Outside of academics, the campus had a great sense of community, and I loved the variety of sports events that brought everyone together. The town itself was charming—small enough to feel cozy but big enough to offer plenty of activities. Overall, MSU provided a perfect balance of studies, social life, and opportunities for personal growth.

About Minot State University

Minot State University places a high priority on creating a safe learning and working environment for the campus community. MSU Security is the primary department responsible for overall safety and security on campus, working closely with state and local law enforcement agencies. The campus has an Emergency Blue Light system composed of 25 marked stations strategically placed on campus.

The Honors Program at Minot State University offers a series of courses that together earn a concentration or minor, as well as an Honors Program distinction on the transcript. Classes are small and full of lively discussion, with an atmosphere of mutual respect. The program challenges students to become leaders, attain high standards, and critically think about important issues.
