Professors

Student

New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary is preparing students to reach the world around them with the gospel message. NOBTS prepares students to interact with people from all nations, people groups, and languages.

Student

I attended from 2016 through 2019, so I'm hoping some of the issues I had have been resolved since then. Strangely enough, a few professors seemed a bit disorganized, and, in some cases, I did not receive a grade for some of my papers. I wrote a 20 Page research paper for Christian apologetics and never received any comments or a grade, yet somehow I made an A in the class. NOBTS is lower cost than some comparable Baptist seminaries, so that's a plus. I really benefited from Systematic Theology one and two.

Student

I am attending Leavell College and have just completed my second year of undergrad work. What I like the most is the ability to complete online as well as the commitment of the instructors. I enjoy knowing that even miles apart, I can reach out and talk with my instructors at any time. Something to change would be the scholarships that are offered through their school. To make them available to the online students.

Student

The teachers at NOBTS are some of the most genuinely, caring people. They are not only great teachers, but great mentors that care about more than just your studies.

Student

I feel well prepared by my classes. The class content is a mix of broad and precise studies.

Campus and vibes

Student

The seminaries activities more toward the single teens and young twenties crowd, so families excluded. And if you work on the campus? It depends who you work for, and if they have your back. Make sure your beliefs match theirs. Because they’ll turn their back on yours to save their own hide.

Student

The professors and students are amazing at the seminary. As soon as I arrived I felt welcomed and at home. The professors are not only there for you academically but spiritually and personally as well.

Student

New Orleans has the best food in the world. Hands Down!

Student

I live off campus and love it. But we live in a bad neighborhood, and the conditions arent great
