At PSC you can influence the change you would like to see in real time, the size and scope of campus life allows for students to make the improvements we would like to see. It teaches students to speak for what they want their community to become, they will find support in becoming contributing members of this community.

This campus is, above all, one of the healthiest places on earth for you to find yourself. Both physically, with the clearest air, and mentally, with constant access to free counseling services.

There are so many hands on experiences available: The Rock Wall, Saunders Gym, Hiking at the VIC, Study groups, not to mention the numerous clubs and sub cultures that have formed. As a current student, I would love to see more national outreach. We live in one of the most scenic areas of New York ( perhaps even the country) So why aren’t more people talking about it?

Current Student

Paul Smith's College is a great and unique campus! The only four year college in the Adirondacks. It's amazing that the campus is situated on 14,000 acres and a lake! Outdoor activities like canoeing, hiking, skiing, etc are all right there for you to enjoy!

Alumni

I spent the better part of five years on campus as first an undergraduate (Env. Studies) and then a graduate student (MPSSTM), during my time I tried every manner of new way to enjoy the outdoors, and ways to stay entertained inside when the weather became unpleasant. The skills and people I met will be a part of my life forever, and the energy and zeal I’ve gained from PSC has allowed me to navigate this post-schooling world with the comfort and ease of long familiarity.
