The college has a Security Department with direct telephone access to the City of Ranger Police Department and the Eastland County Sheriff’s office. American School Search gives this school grade "B" on safety.

Ranger College welcomes international students and requires them to submit an international student admission application packet, a non-refundable $100.00 application fee, and a $100 dorm reservation fee, if applicable.
