Student reviews

Professors

Student

Most Professors have very open office hours as well. In combination, the professors are there to help you learn and grow as a person and students. The material that is taught is very concise depending on your understanding of what is expected, as most, believe that you should be studying twice the hours you are in that class.

Student

The professors at the Gonzales campus aren't as friendly or forgiving of say late work, etc. My favorite professor I've ever had is at the gonzales campus, though. They offer so many courses and different majors.

Campus and vibes

Student

While attending RPCC it has been a wonderful experience. While most professors are understanding some are strickter on their students as a way of tough love, others are sticklers for the rules. It has a great diversity in those qualities but more as well.

Student

River parishes community college is for anyone who might not have enough funds for a 4 year or someone who just doesn't feel a 4 year university is for them. I first earned my associates in applied science of process technology in 2022. I thoroughly enjoyed my time earning that degree, however my second time around trying to earn another degree has not been quite as pleasant.

Student

Its really up to you what you want to do in life and what type of career you plan to have. Rpcc does give you the opportunity to work at your own pace for the most part, and if you work hard you'll be able to get into working after graduating.

Student

RPCC is truly an amazing place to learn and grow as a person. I’m part of the Early College Program, and RPCC gave me the opportunity to earn my associate’s degree while still in high school. I’ll be graduating with my degree at just 17, which is an opportunity I wouldn’t have had anywhere else.
