Student reviews

Professors

Current Student

My overall experience at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology has been very good so far. The academic environment is rigorous, but the professors are approachable and genuinely concerned about their students' success. Small class sizes enable one to ask questions easily, get one-on-one attention, and form close bonds with faculty members. I’ve also appreciated how collaborative the student culture is—people are always willing to help each other out, whether it’s with coursework, projects, or adjusting to campus life.

Student

The schoolwork was very demanding and the surrounding area of the college is not great, but the actual campus and the quality of education you get are second to none so I am glad that I went. I do wish departments outside of the Civil Department would help with paying for the FE Exam and things of that nature to set you up for a better future.

Campus and vibes

Student

I love Rose. I had a tour during my junior year of high school and fell in love. It's a small school, but I love it because I feel like the profs know me as a person, and we know them as well. Student Affairs also does an amazing job of having things to do around campus, so you aren't just in your room all the time.

Cost and value

Student

Best in the world. Without a doubt in my mind the most valuable experience of my life. Despite the cost of tuition and the many other associated cost, it was the greatest possible post secondary education experience in the world.
