Student reviews

Professors

Current Student

It was overall a great experience. It made me realize that I really enjoy the small class/one on one with professor experience and solidified my transfer choice. I also enjoyed the flexibility with my schedule and courses very much.

Current Student

The only issue I had was some courses had very low professor engagement. For example, some wouldn't respond to emails, some were obviously there to just get the course over with, etc.

Current Student

Rowan College of South Jersey stands out for its dedicated professors who genuinely care about student success. They provide personalized support, ensuring that we are well-prepared for our future careers.

Campus and vibes

Current Student

I have attended a different local college in the past, and gosh am I glad I transferred. Admin is amazing and very helpful. Students are very friendly and open. There are good food trucks and fun little activities on campus. The professors here are so helpful and kind!

A few professors especially I’ve formed connections with and they have helped push me down paths I didn’t imagine before. They’re always there when you need a more adultier adult and are very understanding. This is the best college to get your undergraduate at, especially because they’re so inclusive. Amazing special needs programs too if you are a special needs student. I can not praise this school enough. Wish it were a four year college!

Current Student

As a sophomore at RCSJ I would say it is a great college. For a community college, I am surprised that I love it so much. The education is great and there are many opportunities for the students such as sports, clubs, honor societies, and more. Being involved is what made my experience so amazing here. The staff is amazing and extremely helpful.

Current Student

Because this school is on the smaller side, you can be close with your classmates and professors. I will be sad to leave this college.

Student

Best college in SJ! Professors and advisors were amazing. So many groups and activities to get involved in on campus. Staff is always willing to provide extra help if you need it and everyone is so friendly and kind.

Current Student

My Calculus teach failed me for missing an exam because I was in a car accident. The campus is pretty small and easy to learn. The tools they give to both students and alumni makes it easy for you to succeed.

Cost and value

Current Student

Very affordable and the proximity to home was convenient. The professors ranged from great to terrible. My marketing and accounting teachers were great and really helped me understand the craft.
