Saint Mary-of-the-Woods is a fantastic college to attend. The professors are excellent with students. They are always willing to help students when they need it. Professors act as if they care for them. The college is unique in many different ways. The college is old, so it has a lot of history.

St. Mary of the Woods is a small, historic college located near Terre Haute, IN. They have great scholarships, including a $15,000 one just for living in IN. The staff are friendly and very helpful. I am enrolled in equine studies. It is an excellent, very hands-on program. We spend hours at the barn every day, taking care of horses and taking classes. I definitely recommend this school.

From the start SMWC has been very forthcoming with information and very helpful in deciding the right track for me. I am doing the PM-BSN program and it is nothing short of spectacular

The students that go to Saint Mary’s are welcomed with open arms. Every freshman needs that because they are scared for their first year of college. The food is good at the college as well. Students can eat with their professors, friends, and family. The Woods Cafe is a great place to study. The gym is nice and clean as well. Overall, Saint Mary-of-the-Woods is an amazing college and I want to recommend it to anyone. The people are astonishing because they are always willing to be there for other people.

The campus was safe and inviting. The campus housing however lacked proper heating and cooling, including the newest dorms that came at premium pricing. Space heaters weren't allowed even with rooms being 50-60 degrees for an entire week. The food service is under par and difficult to work around being such a remote campus.

About Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College

Public Safety officers are on campus 24 hours a day to ensure a safe environment. The college has a collaborative working relationship with local law enforcement agencies. The campus is noted for its natural beauty and peaceful surroundings, contributing to a safe and secure environment.

The Saint Mother Theodore Guerin Honors Program recognizes students who embody the principles by which Mother Theodore Guerin lived. Recipients form a community on campus that carries on the values of faith, quality education, persistence in service, reflection, and mentorship. Students who complete the program receive a special designation on their transcript and recognition at Commencement.

SMWC welcomes international students and provides support for their enrollment. More than 800 students are enrolled in the Woods Online program from 33 states and across the globe. The college offers various academic and non-academic facilities and services to international students.
