Campus and vibes

Student

When I first entered Saint Peter’s University’s campus, I immediately felt lost and confused with how spacious it was. It didn’t help knowing that certain buildings I had to enter for an event were streets away, thus adding on to that pressure of being overwhelmed. However, it wasn’t long before I settled in, as I realized how straightforward and convenient campus truly was. With my major being biology, I was able to attend my lectures and labs right after another very easily, as the buildings are nearby each other with a library too if needed. The iconic bridge connecting streets for students’ ease of access additionally soothed that initial stress I had about the expansive campus. It’s also nice seeing the university’s religion being respectfully represented through a statue of St. Ignatius, for example, and crosses in every classroom.

I like how there are many clubs and events here as well as how the staff are willing to help students out with whatever's bothering them. There are many resources around that; campus based and religion based to feel a sense of security and comfort.
