I dual enrolled at Seminole State College of Florida as a high school student for multiple years. The experience was great overall - the application process was smooth and simple, the college offers many online classes that enable you to learn at your convenience, and I met some of my all-time favorite teachers/professors there. (shoutout to Dr. Long!) The campuses are clean and lively, and the many walk-in events allow students to learn about different volunteering opportunities, clubs, and various resources offered to them by the college.

I have been fortunate to do Dual Enrollment in my senior year of high school and I absolutely loved it. The classes were great and the campuses are beautiful. I applied to go there over the summer and was accepted and was able to talk to so many helpful people about what to do and the right classes for me.

Seminole State College equips students with the essential skills for a successful profession however while serving as a welcoming hub of community and opportunity for the area. I am proud to be a part of SSC, wherein the combination of affordability, fantastic guidance, and network engagement creates an environment wherein I can thrive. The campus itself is superbly maintained and alluring, imparting a smooth, comfortable environment that enhances the college experience.

Student

Seminole State is a great low-cost option for a college degree. There's a wide variety of degree programs and course offering, though many cool courses advertised are not offered year-round or at all anymore (take History Meets Science, for example). Seminole State employees are very helpful and knowledgeable overall. The social life, although not vibrant, is still active and there is enough variety in clubs and activities for all students to fell welcomed.
