Campus and vibes

Senior

I've been able to craft my major to what suits me best and the experiences I've had will get me ready when I enter the workforce. I’ve met incredible individuals dedicated to making a difference. At Siena, you're able to create your own experience because of the professors and support that will help you along the way. I recommend Siena College to anyone seeking a hands-on experience that fosters lifelong friendships, personal growth, and a meaningful community with those who help make a difference. Siena is not just a school; it’s a place you can truly call home!

Current Student

Siena College is apparently accepting students from nearby Saint Rose, a school that will shut down next year. If Siena really is getting complaints about being overcrowded (not enough courses offered, not enough parking, not enough food, seats, and hours at Saga, and dorms with too many people), then letting in students from Saint Rose will exacerbate overcrowding.

Alumni

Siena College has a great environment for students. The people you meet there will be friends with you for the rest of your life. And in the school of business. I had great experiences with my teachers and administrative staff. One part of Siena that I feel needs to be improved is the student life facilities.

About Siena College

Siena College prioritizes campus safety, with the Department of Public Safety providing 24/7 patrols and emergency services. The college works closely with the Colonie Police Department and has a Memorandum of Understanding for criminal incident investigations. Emergency call boxes are located around campus, and residence halls are locked 24 hours a day with card access for students and authorized personnel.

The J. Spencer & Patricia Standish Honors Program at Siena College offers high-achieving students an enriched academic experience. The program features small, discussion-driven seminars, faculty mentorship, and opportunities for in-depth research. Honors students benefit from priority course registration and the flexibility to integrate study abroad or internships without delaying graduation.

Siena College welcomes international students and provides support through various academic and non-academic facilities. International students can apply for enrollment and access services such as financial aid, scholarships, and study abroad programs. The college aims to create an inclusive atmosphere for students from all walks of life.
