I’ve also gained valuable hands-on training that’s helped me feel more confident in my skills. One area I think could improve is communication between departments. It can be difficult to get timely answers about things like class schedules or financial aid. More resources for mental health and career guidance would also be helpful, especially for students managing school, work, and personal responsibilities.

Great professors. Great layout. Friendly staff. Well-kempt campus. Great prices. Diverse, inclusive, not hard to find a place of belonging. Scholarship system kind of hard to work with, I lost my lifeline scholarship because I didn't take classes for one semester and was not told that doing that would make me lose the scholarship. Can't afford full-time school anymore.

At South Plains College, I really liked how afforable it was for me! Since it was more affordable, it made it better and cheaper for when I transfer to another college to get a Bachelor's!
