Student reviews

Professors

Student

I recently completed the nursing program from St Paul School of Nursing Staten Island, If it wasn't for this school and the professors I had I wouldn't be where I am today. I would like to thank Professor Lopez, Professor Distefano, Professor Gallotta, and Professor Attia, for never giving up on me and believing in me.

Student

As long as you put your best foot forward you will do ok. There are a few professors that actually care for your completion and success in the program but then there are also those that seem to just be there to get paid and go home. The students are mostly nice and help each other push to reach the finish line which is what’s needed when enduring such an intense fast paced course.

Student

I like the fact that of you fail a test you have to go for coaching. Where they try to pinpoint why you failed the test and then they give you testing strategies. I do like the school very much it is very extensive compared to the the two other schools I went to. I feel the classes coincide with each other. I can be in one class and say oh we touched this topic yesterday in another class.

Campus and vibes

Student

this college is very welcoming and understanding, they take pride in making sure each student gets taken care of. the professors are very caring and it is not as competitive as other schools. i enjoy my time there and feel safe and welcomed. this school provides three programs such as nursing medical assistant and dental assistant giving students a wide range of experience. as far as application processing it is simple and the representatives walk you though the process. it is a private college but there are loans and financial aid available for students who are eligible. although it is a two year college you can always continue your education at another once you finish

Cost and value

Student

St Paul's is an excellent school for an accelerated nursing school. The curriculum is well planned, the environment is conducive for learning. The available hours are convenient for working students. The environment is great for adult learners. Transportation is excellent. The cost is somewhat of a challenge for me. I wish they had more available funding options. I recommend St Paul's school of nursing to anyone interested in changing their lives for the better in a field of study that has a vast job market.
