Student reviews

Professors

Student

Stark State College was stupidly good for the money you pay for it. At least in the accounting department. I have learning disabilities that can sometime hinder my ability to get a right answer, but due to outstanding and understanding professors, I was able to attend office hours to understand course materials and they were always open to review coursework I didn't understand with me. Great school for learning disabilities!

Campus and vibes

Student

I started at stark state at 44 years old. I thought the enrollment process was fairly simple. I thought that they had a nice orientation where they told you everything they could about the school and extracurricular activities as well as giving you an opportunity to walk through the halls and navigate where you’ll be going and what you’ll be doing and all the other special little things that they have to offer which is actually quite a bit.

Student

Overall stark state was a good college and very affordable! I wish they had more clubs and activities for students.

Student

They have free food cabinets, they have sensory rooms, they have so many nooks and crannies with chairs and desks and places to study. They have open computers to use. They have learning centers available. Those learning centers have plenty of online opportunities. My teachers were friendly and going into the classroom. My peers felt approachable. I definitely don’t dread going daily. I would recommend Stark state for anyone at any age trying to go back and further their education.
