The process of getting into my Business major was relatively simple. I didn't do any special application when applying to the school. I did the general application on ApplyTexas. After becoming accept I declared my major " Animal Science" but after completing a semester I chose to change to Business Management.

Current Student

My experience at Tarleton State University has been meaningful and rewarding. From the start, I felt welcomed into a supportive community that values student success. One of the things I liked most was the smaller class sizes, which made it easier to connect with professors who genuinely care about helping students learn and grow.

Campus and vibes

Senior

What began as an exciting journey to complete my degree at Tarleton turned into a nightmare. While I had no issues with professors, dealing with the financial aid office and administration was a constant struggle. Each semester, I had to justify my continued enrollment and explain my financial need due to grant ineligibility.

Current Student

I didn't really meet any difficulties in enrolling. The only thing I can say about admission is make sure to send in the application in on time and as they instruct. Other than that, it is pretty easy.

Current Student

My time at Tarleton was genuinely enjoyable. The teachers there were more than just educators; they were mentors who genuinely cared about their subjects and inspired us to dive into learning with excitement. The school's atmosphere was vibrant and inclusive, with a plethora of clubs and extracurricular activities to explore, ensuring that every student could find their niche and thrive.

Tarleton is a place for everyone. In a town known as "The Cowboy Capital of the World", you would think it was a place mostly for those involved in Ag or Rodeo-based groups, but that could not be further from the truth. Tarleton offers countless groups that anyone can join.

Alumni

I have had an amazing experience at Tarleton! I got my Bachelor's degree at the main campus in Stephenville, and I am working on my Master's at the Waco location. The quality of education you receive for the cost is amazing! I love Tarleton because I feel like I am part of a big family.

Tarleton State University is a good option. What I mean by this is that in most categories that we judge universities by, it is at most slightly above the mean. The campus is safe, and well kept. The professors are (for the most part) kind, knowledgeable, and want to teach.
