Professors

College Sophomore

I applied early decision because I realized that TCNJ's nursing program is very competitive, they accept only 70 (maximum) nursing students to their program for each class out of a around 600+ applicants. The most important criteria are a solid GPA, SAT score, and a good recommendation letter from a professor describing your actions outside of the classroom, and a quality application essay.

College Sophomore

Easy Coming in, Hard to Switch Into – I applied to TCNJ as a Biology major so the Biology department looked at my application and accepted me as a freshmen. So as a high school senior, it's not extremely difficult to get into, but it is one of the most competitive majors on campus.

Sophomore

I've had a really great time at The College of New Jersey. The institution boasts a close-knit community and instructors who are genuinely committed to their students' academic achievement. The class sizes are small enough that you get to know your instructors well, and they get to know you, fostering a positive learning atmosphere.

Campus and vibes

College Freshman

The College of New Jersey was and is my dream school!!! As soon as I stepped on campus when I toured with my older brother I knew I was home! So two years later, I applied Early Decision and was accepted! These past two semesters have been more than I have ever hoped for out of my college experience! I am studying Deaf Elementary Education and English, so I get the pleasure of attending this college in a five-year graduate program! I am so excited to learn everything this college has to offer!

Junior

TCNJ is my home away from home! The people, professors, and friends that I have encountered since attending this small public state institution have all made feel like I am part of a second family. Through making close friends with the members of the men's swim & dive team, as well as other majors, I am able to put time and effort into branching out my friendship circle as to meeting new people from other colleges like Bates College in Maine.

Sophomore

My overall experience has been positive. The decision to be an athlete and attend The College of New Jersey has been rewarding.

Student

Not very accommodating. Makes it very clear everything is about generating revenue. Unprofessional staff. Would not recommend. Terrible place
