Student

Once you are an upperclassmen, you have the option of living in Fox (just like Davidson), College Park, or the Minervas. (Even though freshman are assigned a Minerva, they dont live there). All 3 also have the option of getting a single room as well. There are separate lotteries for the Minervas and general lottery (Fox & College park), and upperclassmen (seniors & juniors) get priority decision.

Student

There are 7 different Minerva houses on campus which contain both singles & doubles. Minerva are pretty close to everything, unlike the other dorms. The process of applying to the Minervas is based on an essay, GPA, and involvement on campus.

About Union College

Union College is located in Schenectady, New York, and employs a security force of sworn and non-sworn campus officers. The campus is monitored with exterior and interior cameras, and entrances to residence halls are equipped with card reader identification systems. The college has a written Memorandum of Understanding with the Schenectady Police Department.

Union College offers the Union Scholars and Seward Interdisciplinary Fellows programs, which allow students to accelerate their graduation or be unenrolled for a term or more. The college also funds Undergraduate Summer Research Fellowships for students to do scholarly work with faculty members. These fellowships support a broad range of activities, including bibliographic work, field surveys, and laboratory research.
