The process of getting into Biomedical Engineering at The University of Akron was not bad at all. I received direct admittance because of test scores, and the majority of people that I know who were not directly admitted did not seem to have much trouble either as long as they had the grades to support their decision (whether before college or during). One difficulty I found was knowing which classes to add once I was in.

The University of Akron is a nice campus and does have good opportunities but it does have it's flaws. Most of the professors here are good people and really want you to learn and make the experience great but there are some who do not seem to have your best interest. Overall the academic part is good.

My lifelong friends that I made at the university helped me not only stay in school but appreciate the importance of education and understanding the world around me.

The parking at Akron for online students is nonexistent and is inconvenient for commuters. It seems this way no matter what later of campus I’ve attempted to navigate.
