Student

The University of Baltimore is a great school for any student. Classes are filled with students of all ages. UB really creates knowledge that works. Classes are not traditional college courses in the sense that student age's vary significantly. There are moms, dads, recent high school grads, full time workers, full time students, all wrapped up into a diverse population. I came to UB for their legal programs including the Early Entry option (students complete their undergrad in their first year of law school) or the automatic entry program (earn a 150 on the LSAT while you attend UB and you are automatically accepted into the law school). To again reiterate the legal focus I have taken, the school offers a Court Navigator Program where students act as interns, helping tenants in rent court disputes in the Baltimore City District Court.

Student

I have been accepted into the University of Baltimore graduate certification program. I can say the application process was somewhat teddies the enrollment counselor had limited information she knew. Once meeting with the chair department, things began happening quickly. I felt comfortable with the class schedule and met with knowledgeable and extremely supportive professors. I know the university is in the city but I think parking should be reduced more for students. I was coming to campus twice a week and the parking was something that stressed me out. I work full-time and it became expensive in certain months.

Cost and value

Alumni

The school is not only decent but it also offers merit scholarships and transfer scholarships to prospective students.

Alumni

Fairly reasonable in tuition, cheaper than other campuses close by. As of today 04/19/12 tuition is about 4,000 per semester.

Alumni

The University of Baltimore is fairly cheap for the tuition and fees. The tuition includes things that most universities don't offer. Take advantage of the writing center which helps edit your paper or take advantage of the free tutors who are more than willing to meet with you. UB also has a great library for students to engage in books, eBooks or DVDs. I would only suggest a meal plan in the fees.
