Professors

Freshman

University of Dayton is an institution that so clearly cares about their students. Their resources are endless (and free!) and if you’re struggling at all so many people are there and willing to listen. The professors have been so kind and have shown so much care for me and my academics.

Campus and vibes

Life here at Dayton is never dull. There is always something fun to go do and see. I am so glad that I chose Dayton, I can't imagine being anywhere else. Anytime you come and visit you are bound to hear the word community, and that is what we are all about. It's so cliche, but it's so true. You can't walk more than 50 feet without a smiling face and a hello. I am beyond thrilled with my my first year here, I have had some wonderful professors that more than make up for the couple less than spectacular professors I have had so far. The support system here is truly one of a kind. From my advisor, to professor, to friends, to the counseling center, you are surrounded by people who want the best for you. It is almost impossible to fail here. I can't rave enough about this university.

Student

The college search process prior to UD was tough. I had been accepted into cheaper colleges, ‘higher ranked’ colleges, I had been accepted into closer colleges, and more, but after touring campus and learning about the UD community, I knew without a doubt that Dayton was the best overall college by far for me.

Graduate Student

I enjoyed all parts of my University of Dayton experience. One factor that some students may forget about is the exceptional Dayton Flyers basketball program. Those athletes are the "heroes" of the region and they continuously have spectators in the arena for every game.

Freshman

I love the professors, all of mine have PHD’s, and they care a lot about the students. Downtown Dayton has a few nice locations, but it’s not great. My advice is to drive down to Centerville, the Greene, or the beavercreek mall (Round 1) as those will provide a better experience and better entertainment.

Freshman

University of Dayton offers a vibrant academic environment with strong programs in engineering, business, and arts & sciences. Students benefit from hands on learning, research opportunities, and a tight knit community feel. Campus life includes diverse student organizations and a commitment to social justice and service. Overall, it's a nurturing place for personal and academic growth with a strong Marianist spirit.

Freshman

I really like the University of Dayton. It offers great opportunities for academics, degrees, and other areas to just fit in. Athletics at UD whether it is official sports or just intramural sports, is so welcoming and so much fun to either play in or be a part of.
