The professors and advisors at Rio Grande University are very forward, helpful, and interactive with the students. The person responsible for the gateway to success program is especially excellent and is valuable for advancing from college into a career. The surrounding area isn't great for resources like grocery, but it has a lot of rural land which is a great field of study for a lot of the majors you can study there.

The university leadership was responsive to student needs in providing academic support, tutoring and guide to student accommodation. There is need for improvement in making international students in satellite campuses to feel part of the main campus activities such as sports.

Lots of friendly people at Rio Grande. The campus is made up of 80% or more athletes, me included. I'd say that 50% or more are international students. So, the focus is on being the best student athlete. The night life is good if you know where to go and someone is always having a party or most of the campus heads to Athens.
