Student reviews

Professors

Student

I love Vaughn. the professors commitment to hwlp students learn is incredible. Very inclusive. They search jobs for you. They give students what they really need carrer wise. The carreer fairs held at school are great. 3:1 student professor ratio. Meaning 3 students average per engienering classes. Professors really pay attention and focus on yourself. Cafeteria is really bad. not acceptable and overprice.

Student

What I liked is that Vaughn College has established excellent relationships with major aviation and aerospace companies. This opens up numerous internship and job opportunities for students, enhancing their chances of securing positions in their desired fields.

Student

In this time I've learned information about finances, transportation, and chores. I've even taken it's upon myself to start two business ventures in the hopes of using the profit from these ventures in my everyday life to ease the expenses of the New York Life. Being here at Vaughn has given me an insight into my current professional aspirations of being an airport manager and has also opened my eyes into the world of Aviation and along with the connections I've made along with my many classmates I look forward to continuing my next 4 years here at Vaughn because even though I'm in the associate's degree program right now I plan to move to bachelors.

Student

This college is small and still needs more work to become a better institution. For example, more professors need to be hired so that there are more options for students to make their schedules. Additionally, students should be informed on which classes need/should be taken first. Lastly, I will say that the good thing about this school is that you are encouraged and given multiple opportunities to apply to internships, co-ops, and eventually a full-time job.

Student

Many students have praised Vaughn College for its strong aviation and engineering programs, knowledgeable and supportive faculty, and diverse student community. Some have noted that the campus facilities could use an update, but overall, it is a great environment for students to learn and grow in their chosen field. Additionally, there are many opportunities for students to participate in clubs and extracurricular activities.

I love the Vaughn community. It’s a pretty small college compared to others in NY and since it’s for aeronautics and technology, it’s easy to make friends as we often have common interests

Student

Its a great college. Campus is a bit small. No Minors, Just the major and dorms. One of the greatest aviation college, right in the city too.

Cost and value

Student

Overall academic performance is good but the fee is too much expensive so need a scholarship and grants to students like me who cannot afford.
