Washtenaw community college is a great place to learn. They provide lots of resources to help their students succeed. They are also very affordable so it’s a great place to save some money on prerequisites. The courses are also rigorous and sometimes can be better than the same course form one of the local universities.

Campus and vibes

Student

My experience at Washtenaw Community College has been very rewarding. The flexibility of course offerings allowed me to balance academics with my personal goals, and the instructors were supportive and knowledgeable. I appreciated how approachable faculty and staff were—they genuinely wanted students to succeed. WCC also gave me the chance to explore different subjects, build a strong academic foundation, and transfer credits toward my bachelor’s degree. Overall, WCC has prepared me well for the next step in my education and career.

Sophomore

I appreciate the diverse and inclusive community, the excellent culinary arts program, and the friendly and approachable instructors. Not going to WCC would be your loss!

They also created their own books to save the students from having to purchase them for Gen. Ed. classes. I'm in the 3-1 program which is an agreement they have with most major universities where you do 3 years at the community college and 1 at the university, it ends up saving you a LOT of money which is great. My teachers have all been nice and attentive, the service teams have all been kind and timely, I live an hour away and I still decided to go here instead of closer CC's because of how great they are.
