Student reviews

Professors

Student

They set up a plan for me and my academics to make sure I could monitor my progress. So I was able to schedule my classes according. Also for being a smaller college, they had many classes to offer as well as time slots. They did also give me a few scholarships to help pay for some of my debt.

Student

I absolutely love this school! The professors work in their respective fields, so when they are teaching, it’s from experience. The class sizes are small, 10-25 students, typically. Scottville is a beautiful small town.

Campus and vibes

Student

West Shore Community College is an amazing small college for those looking for affordable education! The professors and all the staff are extremely helpful. There are fun events each week for students and different clubs to join. The small size makes it feel like a tight knit community! West Shore is the place to go all these aspects!

Student

I personally liked Westshore’s small friendly atmosphere they gave me. The professors were understanding and helpful as I was new to the whole college scene. Everyone is very kind and welcoming no matter where you go. I wasn’t too thrilled about going to a community college but as I finished my first year I have no regrets.

Cost and value

Student

Overall it’s an affordable excellent choice I’m glad I made. However, one thing I’d change is the availability of housing on campus. Westshore currently has no housing on campus and everyone comes hours away from their locations.
