Student reviews

Professors

Student

Wofford College is the true Liberal Arts experience. I do not believe I would have the confidence to pursue such rigorous professional schooling if I hadn't been subjected to the academic rigor at Wofford. The small close-knit community which is so unique to Wofford provided me with extremely beneficial relationships with my professors and peers which I believe will follow me through medical school.

Student

I love that about Wofford and I feel like it makes us unique. We are challenged to multiple fields and connecting them. The small student size allows the professors from different fields to work together whether its in a learning community or creating an interim form their unique interests. Its not everyday that science professors and religion professors teach a class together.

Campus and vibes

Current Student

I felt at home at Wofford since I stepped on campus. There is something for everyone at Wofford, and it didn't take long for me to find clubs, organizations, and activities that appealed to me and helped me connect with some of my best friends. I would consider Wofford to be very aware of ways they can help their students get involved, and are constantly hosting events, speakers, interest fairs, etc.

Current Student

Wofford College is a great school for anyone looking to find their second home. The staff and students are as welcoming as they are kind and their really is a place for everyone. With a rigorous course load, there are still many opportunities to relax on campus and connect with others through a variety of different organizations.

Current Student

Wofford is a college centered around community; it is a school that truly feels like one big family. Students live on campus for all four years: freshmen in traditional dorms, sophomores and juniors in suite-style housing, and seniors in the senior village with Charleston-style homes. Living on campus contributes to our sense of community and provides a fun and safe party scene.

Student

Wofford is a great school. You will experience what is called the Wofford bubble (feeling somewhat trapped, especially if you don't have a car) This is because it is such a small school. Coming from public high school the transition was a bit rough because Wofford is rigorous academically but there were many opportunities for tutoring or meeting with your professor during office hours.

Student

I love Wofford! I feel like I've improved so much on all levels over the past 2 years, and I can't wait to come back in the fall! I've seriously made some of my greatest connections at Wofford, and made amazing friends. Everyone here is so nice, and really driven academically.

Student

Wofford has by far been one of the best decisions I have ever made. Although I was hesitant about college in the beginning, the sense of community at this school created a comfortable atmosphere to be myself and make friends. Everyone at the school truly cares about education, and the professors are very invested in their classes, as well as making personal connections with each student.
