Student reviews

Professors

Student

My overall experience at Xavier was pretty good. The coursework is rigorous and does a solid job of preparing you for your future career. The small class sizes make it easier to get to know your professors and for them to get to know you. Plus, there are plenty of resources available (tutoring, study groups, and the likes) if the material becomes confusing.

Campus and vibes

Student

I liked that it was a small campus so the student to faculty ratio was not bad at all, and our class sizes wasn’t overwhelming most of the time. I enjoyed the psychology department and how helpful the professors were. I asl enjoyed it not being a heavily partying school but still had a student campus life. Things I would like to see change is better professor throughout every department and not just certain departments, i would also like to see the same focus for majority majors and sports and not just the same one or two like biology premed and basketball.

Student

Students either dropped out or the campus didn’t have housing or funding. It’s a sad reality but at least one day I’ll be a doctor? Idk it feels weird to say it was like survival of the fittest and I feel prepared for my future endeavors to say the least.
