Student reviews

Professors

Student

Professors are really great here, despite their leniency in class. Most will stick to their syllabus and are very diligent about communicating with their students outside of class. I have never had trouble reaching a teacher, even on weekends.

Student

While our physics and astronomy department can be counted on two hands, the work they get done is fantastic and all the students who want research can easily get it. Agnes Scott seems conflicted about its future- it claims to want to further research, yet its admission standards increasingly favor the humanities. The application recently became SAT optional, depending on a writing sample and an interview.

Campus and vibes

College junior

In the admissions process this school acts like it is inclusive and supportive of all walks of life but in reality they are supportive of gay and African American students. They marginalize all others and are particularly discriminative towards non-traditional students. Very few classes are available and you will end up taking classes elsewhere.

Student

My overall student experience at Agnes Scott has been wonderful. I appreciate the small classroom sizes so each student has a personal relationship with each person. The professors are accommodating and care about students' livelihoods and education. Also, the campus is lovely and likes to engage in its local community, which is great!
