Student reviews

Campus and vibes

Current Student

My experience with Allen County Community College was a mostly positive experience. I would say the highlight of the college is the staff all around. Every staff member you interact with will always stop to have a conversation with you and the care and attention the professors, advisors, and financial aid is top-tier. There are occasional events on campus, with most of the extracurricular activity coming from sports and a few club events. Iola, the city the college is in, is a typical midwestern small town. While there lacks a sense of community for the most part, the people are very nice.

Alumni

I attended Allen when I graduated high school. Me and my sister went to Allen for 5 months and needed a loan to stay. We didn’t want to become deeper in debt considering we had to pay out of pocket to attend. The classes were intriguing and the professors made you feel included. They could’ve respected the students more and how they approached them.
