In my first year, I had a bit of a rough start when it came to my first major, that being Computer Science (mainly due to the science classes), science isn't my strong suit, so I switched to Computer Information Systems, and So far, at least I say that it is much easier than computer science, which involves components like coding and making applications. I would describe my experience as great throughout my time there.

Bethune Cookman University is a school that can be sort of easy to get distracted from your school work especially if you are a freshman. So the best thing you can do is come in and focus on your books. Its alright to have fun just make sure that you are get your school work done first because it is hard to bounce back once you fall off in your books.

Get the work done, stay on task with all the classes, and freshman semianr is a very important class your whole freshman year. Dont be afraid to ask for help because the teacher are very patient with theyll help if your getting all you need we have tutors that can help as well.
