Student reviews

Professors

Current Student

I had a positive college experience that included doing well in classes. Butte is a place where students engage deeply with their studies and build strong relationships with their professors. A community that helps you become more independent and confident, learn to manage your time effectively, and develop crucial problem-solving skills.

Campus and vibes

Current Student

Overall I’ve had a pretty good experience. For the price you pay there isn’t much to say that is bad and all. The professors are more often than not very good and the classes are relevant to the path you are pursuing. The only thing I wish was better is the counseling at Butte. I haven’t had the best experience with them, they just don’t seem to communicate with you very well and of course that will cause issues because you don’t really know what you’re doing or what they are doing. Other than that my experience has been pretty positive!

Alumni

Butte College is an amazing college that allowed me to learn more about many opportunities, colleagues, and professors. They have CAS which helps students with any needs they need to achieve their goals. The community on the campus is amazing and they are all friendly.

Sophomore

I just started but the college is very organized on the lay out. The instructors I have met are very down to earth and realize that the students all have jobs and need to be able to work around the class schedules. Everyone seems so helpful and friendly. Plus, it is one of the cleanest colleges I have been too.

Other

For a community college in a rural area, Butte college is good. The campus is nice, if lacking shade in some areas. The atmosphere is okay, but there is not much of a culture to the school.

There is a security patrol that operates around the clock, and the school has a health clinic with personal/psychological counseling.
